| Thought I would update for the 2 people who occasionally still look at Xanga. Band camp was really hot but we got a ton done and it looks like we should have a great show this year. I am looking forward to it!
My traveling tennis team won the west regional last Saturday. I had to play singles 3 hours after I got home from camp. I guess camp takes more out of me than I realized. I had no energy and I somehow messed up my left knee and ended up losing for the first time this year. At least the team picked me up and we won 3-2. This weekend is state in Ann Arbor. I could hardly walk Monday so I went to the doctor and got a cortisone shot in the knee so I can play this weekend. The shot was no fun but the result is pretty amazing. I should at least be at about 80% for Saturday and hopefully even better. I play Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m. If the team wins, we qualify for nationals in Indianapolis but it will be tough to beat the team from the southeast. There are so many players in the Detroit area and they tend to bring a very strong team to state. Should be fun regardless. |
